House of Refuge - Food Bank
The House of Refuge Food Bank's mission and purpose is to help with the needs of the Dilworth community residents who require assistance in providing food for their family. We are committed to providing help to as many as the Lord will send to us.
We believe that if we are to minister to the spiritual needs of the community,
we must first minister to the physical needs.
Our mission and purpose is met as follows:
- 1 Food is made available to us from a variety of local, state and national
agencies for distribution.
- 2 Food is stored and distributed from our House of Refuge on the campus of the
Dilworth Church of God.
We typically distribute food on the fourth Saturday of each month.
Our hours of operation are 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
Simply put, we are a group of caring people, displaying the love of Jesus by
offering help to our neighbors who are in need of something as basic as food.
